Wanted to dress up the bland interior of my 997. Added:

Dark wood Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Shifter, and Hand Brake. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Suncoast Porsche for their meticulous install and price.

Got the console and door trim from Bumperplugs. The product quality is amazing.

The pictures do not do it justice. I will take some more during the day.

Is the dark wood more of a brown tone or does it have a black look to it? Looks nice!

I can see why you paint your center console & both side of the door to match you car color. On your Steering Wheel, shift & handbrake lever why you when with the brown wood tone? Black tone will look a lot better then Brown (you already have black floor mats). Just my 2 cents.

 

how hard is the removal of the center console?
looking good. you are my friend bugged out (mod bug) that is.

 

Center console is not that tough. Expect 90 minutes or so of work.

The wood actually looks black. Only in direct sunlight (or flash) can you tell that it is brown.

 

I guess Im boring...but that interior looks better before...
