05 CS price check
i'm closing on a deal on a 2005 CS with CPO
car has around 20k miles.
is this a good deal?
options are full leather, chrono, power seats, heated seats and xenons. i nelieve original MSRP was aroudn $89k.
what woudl be considered a good price for that?
thanks!

a dealer would give you 55k or so, maybe a few grand more, for a trade. i wouldn't pay more than 60k for a 2 year old car with 20k miles on it. remember. if the car had an msrp of 89k, then it probably sold, or could have sold, for 6% discount, which would be 83.6k new. pay the man 60k.

I just bought a 2005 997S that had a window sticker of $101K (launch car config) w/ just over 9K miles for just over $70K. The car was perfect! No CPO but has over 1 1/2 years left on the Porsche warranty.
I might have 'over paid' a bit but it was exactly the 997 I wanted.
Good Luck!
My dealer said deduct $7K for every year from the original MSRP if you're buying from the dealer. This is for average mileage (excellent shape) 997 which he classified as less than 10K a year.

Depends on which part of the country.....In Los Angeles, with a few more options, I paid $71,950 for CPO with same miles last Dec. (I think I overpaid $4-5k over private party for the CPO/dealer, which because of the problems I ended up having, has almost paid for itself, with 4 new tires and other work).
