Radar

I need to install a radar on my 2006 CS4. I had a K40 Calibre with Laser Blinders on my previous car. The install is very subtle and attractive, but I did get the usual flurry of false alarms. The K40 Calibre is MUCH better than the previous hard wired version. The CS4 has a slot below the radio where the radar remote can be installed, so an SRX7 or V1 would work as well. Does anyone have any comments about these?? I know a lot of people are passionate about K40 and especially V1.. Is anyone using the new SRX7??

Have the Calibre in Carrera have V1 on dash in Cayenne - each get same pockets of false alarms - but I "notice" the K40 seems to pick up other detectors.

When I am in places which would ordinarily be free of false alarms, I will get a continuous alert from the K40 - I try going ahead of and dropping back behind various cars to see if I can pinpoint the car with the radar unit using the "front" and "rear" notices that the K40 gives off, and it typically is someone with a dash unit - but hard to tell which ones.... of course....

I don't seem to have ever had that problem with a dash mounted V1.

When will V1 convert to a clean install like the K40???
