I have daily driven Porsches for the last 6 years. If you are not driving your car, what are you saving it for? When you go to sell it sometime down the road, are you going to be proud that you didn't drive it? Take the long way to work and enjoy the car.

Every day I am in town, I drive my 997. Why keep in a garage, when you can enjoy it everyday!

My car is not my DD because of my work bu,t I still drive it 5 days a week. I had planned to try to keep the miles down around the 5-6k a year but I have 8k all ready on it after 10 months. It's just so fun to drive, that I can not let it sit. I drive it to the gym, mall, out to eat, and just about everywhere other then work..It does see much rain, though..

i'd love to drive mine everyday, but i've been working from home a lot lately, and then there are the days when it's easier to commute with my 4-yr old in a 4-door so we end up jumping into the mercedes or the 4runner. but, i plan to make up the "lost time" on the track!

DD here as well. It's just too much fun to let it sit in a garage!

It will depreciate whether its in the garage or on the road, so my advice is to drive it!! I can go to my local dealers and look at Porsche's all day long, but I prefer to drive them.

The amount of scratch this thing cost..I drive it every chance I can. I will probably slow down after the first 6 mos. Car is ony 7 weeks old and I already have 1300 miles on the beast..it is a daily.

Daily Driver for me

I use mine as my daily driver most of the time. I use my GTI when I am headed to a shady part of town for work, but otherwise, drive it as often as I can.

8 months old, 10K miles
