I hesitate to ask this question considering what happened with the Australian Pedal order on the F/S Forum, but, here goes:

Anyone with recommendations for aluminum pedal manufacturers that are designed for the 2007 997S Manual, please post photos and or recommendations.

Its so damn dark down there and some Aluminum Pedals will look great....

I just placed an order with www.rennline.com a few moments ago. I saw their pedals on a 997 GT3 at Lime Rock last weekend and they looked great. I'm getting it to make "heel-toe" a little easier.

 

Are you going to put that floorboard thing also, looks sick.

I also love the look of the floorboard, but I'm just doing the pedals with the attachments for now.

 

I have AutoVation pedals in all my vehicles. The surface finish matches the Porsches.

 

Materials and workmanship are top notch. I'm very happy with the quality. Light yet solid, great attention to detail. IMO they're a great value.

 

Frank, I think your pic made up my mind over which finish to get from ultimate pedals. How hard was the install for these, and are there any instructions?

I was able to install them without a problem and I do not own many tools and rarely do things myself. Thorough instructions (with pics) are included.

how do you install these? do they screw into the stock rubber pedals or are they a replacement?

 

For the footrest and gas pedal the alum pedals screw directly onto/over them. For the clutch and brake, you first remove the rubber 'booty' that covers the underlying metal pedal, then use a hole punch/drill to install the alum pedals directly over/onto the underlying metal pedals. Included directions are thorough and specfiic to the application.

 

Her'e my set, didn't spend too much money on those name brand but work & look great.

 

Mike, can you please post pics once you get yours installed? I'm thinking about getting the Rennline pedals too. I just ordered the stainless indicator light surround.
