I got my porsche OE short shifter in and I also got the painted center console and upper door trims painted and wnat to install them. Does anyone know if its easy enough to install the short shifter and rear center console myself???? and I heard the upper door trims where the door handles are, are difficult, can I install these myself also?????????

I installed the shifter myself . It took about 1 hour.
The hardest thing was getting the shift **** off .
Removing the door panels is also pretty straight forward.

Did it come from us? We include installation instructions in the package if so.

Shift **** is a tough one, usually just friction and it takes a bit of effort. Don't give up.

Doors will require panel removal.

Turn the plastic collar below the shifter boot (997 models) CLOCKWISE ~ 1/4 turn ( 90 deg) then pull the **** off .

It's on VERY tight , so you probably need to create some sort of lever using a big screwriver or tap it from below with a heavy wrench .
Once you get it loose by ~ 1/4 inch, it pulls right up .
