5mm wheel spacers
In order to have a 997/997s to be aligned somewhat like a GT# usually meaning mover front camber you have to install GT3 control arms along with other GT3 suspension parts. There was a great discussion about this with a guy on another forum that added GT3 suspension parts to his 997S.
I had it made in a Porshecentrum in Germany without problem. I do think if you wan't a more agressive cambers you have to install the the GT3 lower suspension arms.
I told them to do this alignment and they said no problem. When I picked up the car they told me that the alignment I asked for was done perfectly.

Thanks.
Don't know, but I can try to check tomorrow.
Is it the PASM compatible B16 Damptronic coilovers you are installing? Could you post some pictures of the Bilstein's before you install? I would like to see how they look, because I'm installing these later.

That would be great, if you don't mind. Typically one measures from the top of the wheel to the top of the highest point in the wheel well. Yes I am installing the PASM-campatible coilovers. Sharkwerks (a frequent contributor to this forum) currently has then. I've asked Alex if he could post pictures.
You are 100% that these are the PSS9 to the 997? Because the original rear springs are much wider in diameter than those shown on the pictures. What art. number is your order. Does these has variable damper adjustments?
I have checked Bilsteins website and for some time ago they supplied B16 PSS9 PASM compatible sets with variable damper adjustment, now they call the set B16 Damptronic and they don't mention variable damper adjustments.
Here is a picture of Bilstein B16 Damptronic rear PASM damper from their website.

I got my 997s back today after having the PASM-compatible PSS9s intalled and I'm lovin' it! The profile looks great (25.75" in front and 27.25" in the rear - but car should settle another 0.25"), and I'm very impressed with the handling. It rides a bit stiffer than stock but the ride feels much more solid and the handling around corners is improved. I can't wait to get it back on the track. One of the best modifications I've done to date.
what is the point of 5mm, or even 7mm spacers for that matter? it's 25mm to an inch. i'm guessing 5mm wouldn't even be percectible to the eye. i mean we're talking a fifth of an inch here. i would guess you couldn't even tell visually till you did at least 14mm or better.
