Best recomendations for porsche daily driver

I am in a Targa 4s, very nice and like a lot. I have had several TT in past. Last was a tip which I did not like. It was modified, lowered (means I scrapped everything), and had some modified muffler which was so loud I had to replace with original. l wonder if price is no main object-what would be your choice of a dd -my present targa, another TT or some other porsche. Thanks for the responses but I would like to hear from owners not wishful wanabee owners. I will never go to the track so this is really a daily or at least weekend affair. I drive a ford 150 to work most of the time.

Tough question to answer. Are you just going by yourself? or need to drop off kids at school first? is it stop-and-go traffic, vs mainly freeway?

I need to drop kids off first so I use my Cayenne S mainly. It will be upgraded to Cayenne Turbo soon. For days that I go alone, any 911 will do it for me.

I think that any 997 works as a dd.

well if you already have a targa 4s, why not pick up a Cayenne S or CTT as your daily. fits the kids if you have them, fits cargo if you need to and you still have the targe for even more fun driving.

I should have said, most fun for an old man hanging on, will be the only driver and unless takes wifey somewhere the only one in the car. Just the most fund car that one can have and still be legal. I am thinking of trading for a 997 TT but it is probably kind of foolish since the 997 targa c4s is also a great car, but not quite as much car as the TT. I guess a gt3 or gt2 would be stupid if I am not going to the track.

Your Targa 4S suits your purpose perfectly, and you cannot even use 100% of its reserve in US roads.
