Exclamation Techart springs for 997s...

Hi! next week I will buying Teachart springs made by Eibach for my 997s with PASM...
anybody try these springs? they are softer than Gemballa made by H&R?
I try gemballa and they are very unconfortable! they are very firm...is like running with the sport mode suspension all day...

Thanks!!!

I have driven with the Techart springs for a couple of weeks now. So far, no or minimal stiffer than original. Actually, maybe to soft for track use. Perfect look and rideheight now after the springs have setteled.

Love my techart springs. Have had no problems with PASM and you don't give anything up on the ride!

for those who have techart springs. Do you think the drop is enough with 20" or H&R which lower more would be better?

S- Love your car!! I might have to get the gt3 front to add to my techart kit.

I think the sides go great together.

H&R definately has more of an aggressive drop. I went with techart because I didn't want to mess with any potential problems with PASM. Yes, claims are that H&R is PASM compatible, but I have seen situations where people had problems that were unexpected. Besides, the techart drop is an even drop without the appearance of a front end rake that you get with H&R. Comes down to personal preference. Both work.

rzundel, I total agree with you. No rake and a less concern with Pasm messing up.The techart's lower the car like it should be from the factory..

I don't see a front end rake in the picture on Synergy's car with H&R springs. Rzundel I take it you have TechArt springs? Both cars look great and the perfect height.

Yes, I do have Techart. I agree that Synergy's car appears to be equally lowered (front/rear) without a noticable rake. Looks good. Other H&R I have seen have a more noticable rake.

H&R makes a PASM spring and a NON PASM spring. There is no issue, Sharkwerks has sold dozens of these sets and I haven't heard of any issues whatsoever on 997S and 997 PASM cars. Just make sure you order the correct H&R kit.

Thanks guys for the comments on the car, the GT3 / Techart rockers are a nice combo, although my front lip is super low and quite a challenge to drive
