Southern CA Tracks

Hey everyone,

New to this forum and to this car, but been reading for years. I have never been on a track before but have always wanted to. Can you guys give me some tips as far as what tracks you recommend in Southern CA (I live in Irvine) as well as driving school (recommended? or necessary?)

Thank you for your guidance.

Love this car.

Sometimes California Speedway has DE's on the infield road course which also utilizes the back straight away from the Nascar circuit. Also there is also the streets of Willow and so..

If you haven't joined pca do so. They have events at different tracks. OC region will have an auto x at the streets of willow 9-17-07.

Also, if time and money allow, PDE in AL is a worthwhile and fun thing to do.

Willow springs in Lancaster has two tracks that are both a lot of fun. Buttonwillow is also out in Kern county and is a good track. Recently CA speedway has help some DE events and Porsche stuff too. The best and safest way to get out to these tracks is with the local Porsche Club of America and/or the Porsche Owners's Club.
