Windscreen-mounted radar detector
The manual for my new detector says that "A few vehicles (including some Porsches) have windshields with a soft 'anti-lacerative' coating on the inside surface. Use of suction cups will permanently mar this coating." (See that manual at http://www.escortradar.com/manuals.htm).
Does anyone know whether the 997 has that coating?
