Didn't want to start a new thread...

Mine seem to make a banging noise in the rear when I go over bumps. Is this common?

My makes a noise sometimes when I go over bumps or steep inclines like a driveway slowly. I don't know if it's common, and it isn't a banging noise, kinda sounds like the spring getting unsettled or something.

I've got a before picture somewhere, but here is an after installation shot. The car is about 1" lower than stock with factory bars.

MRBONUS,

I am also considering the PSS9's for my 996. What is AWE charging for the install?

I am very happy with the PSS PASM coil-overs on my 997. Excellent mod, super high quality parts, makes the car handle better and feel MUCH more planted imho.

Just wanted to update you all on my problems with my Damptronics -- turns out the PASM cable of one of the shocks was damaged during installation. That caused the whole PASM system to go into fault mode. It was just nicked a tiny bit, but these cables seem very sensitive. Thanks to Udo at Bilstein for fixing it for me, great guy!

The shocks are a great mod -- like the others said, stiffer than stock but the cars feels much more planted. Worth every penny, imho. Time for the track

Hey Udo fixed mine too! He did a great job repairing mine as well.

Sorry to get off-topic: I know of that noise you're talking about, elmel. But now that my PSS Damptronics are repaired, I haven't heard them. Have Eric take a look at it.

Just installed mine. We got still winter, but I totally agree with M32911S.

Best mod so far actually.

is it true the PSS9 are discontinued so if I am looking for one for a non-PASM i should be able to find some deals. I would like to get more of a lowered look and get some rims in the future. Car is not a track car, but I would love to take it to the track in the future to actually drive the car
