Good or Bad Deal on this 997S

I found this guy selling his 2005 Carrera S and was wanting to know what you think. He is asking $68,000 and still has 19 months on the warranty.

Seller's Comments
Atlas Grey metallic Carerra S 997. One nonsmoker owner custom ordered from Porsche. 19 mo. factory warranty. Just completed the first 20,000 mile service. No accidents, no dings, no wheel scratches. Atlas Grey is darker than Seal Grey; more charcoal in color with a slight blue fleck. Additional options include heated seats, sports chrono package plus, navigation, BOSE high end sound package, remote CD changer. Standard features are extensive including 19 inch wheels (no curb scratches) and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s (almost new), Red painted brakes, 4-year/50,000 mile warranty, 3.8 litre/355 hp engine, 6-speed manual transmission, Porsche's Communication Management (PCM), cruise control, on-board computer, Xenon lights, rain sensing wipers, sunroof, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), power windows, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Zero to 60 in 3.9 seconds. No ceramic brakes or Sports exhaust. I had the car hard wired for a Valentine One and had 3M's clear film professionally applied to all vulnerable areas of the car. Always garaged at home and at work and never tracked.

$68,000 is a fair price but mid $60's would be a real solid buy.

Nice car, but a hell of a long ways away. Your talking at least an additional $2000 to ship it or drive it back.

Trust me, I have been following every 997 that has been for sale on this forum.
I was hoping for slate gray or seal gray and black leather. Cheers!

I thought it would be fun to fly out and drive it back.

I didn't see 'full leather' in the description. If it doesn't have that option (approx $3K) then I think the right price is mid $60K's. BTW: What's the mileage?

FYI: I bought a 2005 (997S) Launch Car build in late February. It of course had all the 'standard' options including PCCBs, Full Leather, etc. I paid low $70K's which was a bit too high but it only had 9K miles and was in showroom fresh condition.

Good luck on whatever you do!

Mileage is 21,000~. I offered him $64k and am waiting to hear back from him.

I might consider selling mine.. 2005 997s Posrche Cert Warranty 100K miles or 3+ years. Seal Grey, 20" Techart wheels, full techart spoiler kit and a wireless bluetooth radar caliber k-40 installed almost $2K.
20K Miles.
The car is flawless in every way.

Uh, NoRoom4Error, can you please change your avatar? it really hurts the eyes!

(I don't get the significance of having 4 grossly overweight "women" after your name...If they're family, sorry for the insult)
