My Supercharged Story....

Well after spending an extra 5.000 $ and 3 months of torture for setting my car to work properly, finally IT S WORKING !!!!My installer Mike told me that he found several Electrical Failures but the main problems that made those misfires happen was the Bad ECU Configuration from EVO.I don’t know if it was the differences in Euro Fuels with the Americans but the thing is that after Mikes Touch the CAR WAS LIKE FROM ANOTHER PLANET !!!Very very fast totally night and day difference. And.......call it SUPER BAD LUCK in my first Test Run in the Highway, THE POLICE SUSPENDED MY DRIVER LICANSE FOR 2 MONTHS!!!!I forgot to mention that 2 weeks earlier i had an accident with my HAYABUSA(not a serious one, thank God.)Can you believe that!!!

Anyway i will find my way on this matter.

The thing is that right now i need to lower my ride a little Bit .You see the rear end looks higher than the front and i know , since the car is rear engined , this makes a perfect sense. But what if it was lowered at the rear equally with the front. Would i have any driving difficulties? What Camber Angle should i use with the Rear and Front Tires?

My thanks to John @ EVOMS who tried to help me with my Supercharger Problem.

Congrats! .. Is your car a tip or 6speed? sounds like the same issue as hjacobs2000.

Do you have aftermarket springs/coilovers? If not, you would need to get a set and lower the front and rear. As for your camber specs, check the GT3 specs .. they should give you the aggressive stance your looking for.

I think the revised GT3 setup is a perfect comprimise for daily/track driving. I'm very satisfied.

Glad that it is running fine, go for H&R springs with bilistien shocks cheaper than Coil Overs. If not satisfied list tme for sale here or on ebay and then get coil overs.

Wheel alignment values
911 GT3/911 GT3 RS (997)
RoW/USA

Front axle

Toe unpressed (total)
+ 6' ± 2'

Toe difference angle at 20° lock
- 1° 50' ± 30'

Camber (with wheels in straight-ahead position)
- 1°20' ± 5'

max. difference, left to right
10'

Caster
8° ± 30'

max. difference, left to right
40'

Rear axle

Toe per wheel
+ 13' ± 2'

max. difference, left to right
5'

Camber 1)
- 1°40' ± 5' 1)

max. difference, left to right
10'

1) Altered camber value on the rear axle which is also valid retroactively (from start of production). Previous value: - 2° ± 5'.

Combine this with some lowering and spacers and you will get a mean look and better handling.

The spacers are not necessary but they will give you that "wider" look and I think it makes the car look a bit more agrassive.

Correct. Depends what wheels you have but with 19" Carrera Classic wheels 15 mm is perfect.
