I do not use sport mode because it makes the throttle way too sensitive and almost impossible to squeeze power back on. Since I shift my Tip in manual mode up and down through the gears from the toggle buttons on the steering wheel sport modes offer no improvement in shifts. My next DE is July 28th and I will play around in sports mode to see if I can get use to the throttle sensativity.
My S4 had paddles in the tip and I agree with you I think the paddles feel much better than the buttons for sure. That's the one thing I miss from the Audi.
