Thanks for confirming that the stickshift/mt DOES make a difference!!!

I guess my money was still well spent

By the way, I noticed you own an aston along with your 997s. How does the 997s compare acceleration wise straight line?

ive raced another 997s which only had bypass pipes and I lost, but my car was having issues back then, I fixed the problem and dynod at 310 rwhp and 268 rwtq. My mid range whp seemed to be higher then other 997S's.

The 997s didn't seem to be trying hard. Apparently he was focusing more of taking the video..

I think that sound is actually the speed nanny .. my car had that on 120km+. I had the dealer disable it a day after getting the car.

Once my car is chipped, I'd be willing to find out for myself if this result is accurate. With the new Procede V2.0, I'm pretty confident that the 335 will easily take a stock, and even slightly modded 997S. Any takers??

The DB9 does feel a little quicker becuase of the TQ, but I know in a 1/4 mile run the 997S will take it easily, but at speeds over 120 the DB9 MIGHT pull.

weird, but also the tip 997s still run like .3-.5 sec slower than the manuals. even with the e46 m3 the smg ran .2-.3 slower than a 6MT and they shifter faster than anyone can. so i think that a procede chipped 335 which is running mid to high 12s and trapping like 108 might be able to pull on a tip 997S. a manual tho, no way!

Chip and exhaust (downpipe and back) is all that's necessary. The Blowoff (Rice) valve is not needed. Highflow airfilter could help too.
