Tks Steve. I was told it was on board Jul 27th but no clue re arrival date. Aug 2nd would be wonderful! I actually don't think dealers hold back anything. On the contrary I was puzzled to see they'd rather order an 08 than aggressively discount an 07 out of their inventory. I think the explanation is that there seems to be more demand than supply right now in US and they have allocation quotas to defend or risk losing.

Thanks Phil, keep me in the loop as to when you think it might hit the shores.. you are right my dealer was just as happy to order an 08' then to sell me one of his 07's.

Thanks I have been paitently waiting and searching for mine. I know this thread has turned into an 08' delivery thread but hopefully I will get mine sometime next week.
I have already lined up parts and V35 I will be putting that Borla system on my car as soon as I can..
I have also lined up the Gt3 front spoiler with vents and still trying to find the wheels I would like to get--(Finding a deal)

Congrats on the new car. As one who just picked up an '05 Launch C2S - I know you're going to love it.

 

I heard today that I might even get the car shipped earlier than I thought---man I am still driving my S4...The thing I am going to miss the most is the four doors and trunk but I am sure I will be able to fit my golf clubs in my car somehow.

I came across a LE 997S today ... looks great, with all the options. Has about 13,000 miles.

Question ... what are these going for? Car seemed expensive to me -- I have also sourced a modestly optioned 06 with 4400 miles that is about the same price. 06 comes with a CPO warranty, as well.
