I'm looking at a 2005 Carrera S with about 24k on the clock. Is there anything I should know beyond the usual? I'm hoping to make a decision by the end of the week. (Was going to post a WTB in the For Sale section but I'm assuming I'm a newbie and can't for a while).

I've been stuck on the C2S because I want something newer with warranty, fast, normally aspirated, and something more "daily driveable" than the Elise!

i have a 05 carrera S with similar miles and have enjoyed it as a daily driver, just dont expect to keep it stock if you come here...

 

What color are you looking for?

 

You can say that again, I got my boxster modded because of 6speed. Heck got my 997tt also because of 6speed....aiya.

 

One piece of advice:

Make sure your radio plays mp3's. A good percentage of the 2005's do not.
