removing tire ball marks from 3M clear bra

I know there was a post of two about this but I can't seem to find them...
I was wondering if anyone can tell me the best way to remove tire ball marks off of my 3M clear bra after going to the track....
I tried some stuff (can't remember the name) the last couple times and it takes it off but not all the way...
Thanks!

I drive a white car and use Meguiar's cleaner wax after the track ... takes off the chunking marks and leaves a wax finish behind. Has made post track day clean up a LOT easier!

/removing rubber build-up

Go to a auto supply store and ask for a "adhesive remover". Very little will take off any track tire marks.

I've used a little dab of Bug and Tar remover on a towel; rub it in, rub it off - no more little "skid marks"

Be careful using anything with a petroleum distillate base on the 3M material.

I use Plexus plastic polish in an aerosol can for simple clean up.

Is Lift Off petroleum based?

I have used plain paint thinner to get cone marks off from my clear shield on my cars hips. Always test on a hidden area first.
