Going to the track is awesome isn't it?!?!?! I was at Sebring 2 weekends ago and back this last weekend.

I'd post a pic or 2 but there seems to be a problem with this site.

 

are the tapes required or do you put it on to protect the healights, fogs and certain areas?

The tape is there to protect the areas, I know it looks terrible, but it keeps track debris from tearing up the paint and pitting the lights. It also keeps the rubber off the paint.

It was a blast, I am really looking forward to the next time out.

 

they let you all run wih the top down? WOW.

 

They did, it was a closed private track day.

 

What is the top speed on the straights at the track you went to? I could not imagine in a Cabriolet what it would feel like and what the aerodynamics would be like at 130mph I hit at the track I go to.

 

top speed is just over 100 or so, maybe 105 in 2 places.
