F77 VS Porsche Performance Upgrade

Hi, I am in the market for a new Porsche! On a C2S or C4S , I can a order from Porsche the Performance upgrade, for 16500 which takes it to 381HP, or do the F77 for 13000, similar power. Which one would have a better resale, and which one better realiability? Yes, with the F77 I get the aero kit, with Porsche I would have to add it. F77 is less expensive, or is it better to d the Porsche kit and get better resale value? Many thanks for opinions!

I am pretty sure the P kit will give some back at resale. The f77 kit gets good reviews but it is aftermarket.

The F77 doesn't come with the aerokit. It's just an intake, chip, and exhaust

I'm quite sure that the Porsche kit will have more resale value, just cause it's from factory.

I thought it was close to $130,000 for a f77 car .If you want better resale and more power and can afford it just got for a TURBO.
you cant go wrong with that

The X51 Porsche option has internal engine mods which is what it really takes to truely get the real power.

The only internal mod is the slight clean up of the exhaust port, that and a stronger exhaust valve spring to withstand the higher 7450 rpm limit. That by itself is probably only worth 5-10hp of the total 26 you gain, the rest is from the intake and programming. There is a new intake manifold, but this can be used on a non X51 head as well..

If I had a choice and was willing to part with $13k, I would bone up the extra dollars and get the X51 kit instead. A set of high flow cats on this kit would probably net an additional 10rwhp.

I would never spend that kind of money for 26 BHP, period. That is $500-635/HP which is f'ing ridiculous.

For godsake you can get a supercharger from TPC or EVOMS for $10-11K and get 500 HP.

For the 997 it is mostly exhaust and intake, as I said in my previous post the only internal modification over a non X51 997S is an exhaust clean up with stiffer exhaust valve. There is a new intake manifold runners, Throttle body and dual snorkel intake along with the X51 exhaust manifolds, reprogrammed DME and 3rd radiator..all pretty much bolt on stuff. That is why there are a few of us going down this road without doing the real expensive stuff like the heads. The non X51 997S head is pretty good as is, as even in OEM tune the car is making over 90hp per litre. If the heads weren't good to begin with, it wouldn't even do this.

Well in my opinion the 911s has plenty of power and all around performance. Easiest way to upgrade that power if you have the money and want to keep warranty and resale would be to just add the x51 package.
Honestly if that is not enough I would go Turbo. It sounds like money is not too much of an option and with the addition of a software upgrade and exhaust the 997TT would def. dominate any thing out there and quench your lust of powa

I agree Dave. I am one of those NA guys myself. Can't you get another 20 BHP or so by doing exhaust, intake or something else that is alot less expensive than $13-16K? I am curious because I am thinking about a 997S when I get tired of my Z06 and want something else. I had a 996TT and it didn't really do it for me. I don't know if it was the AWD or the Turbo or both but the car just didn't excite me all that much. Now I love the power and fun factor of the Z but I do miss the build quality of the Porsches.
