IMHO leasing is never a good idea unless you can write it off to a business. What would be the residual value at the end of the lease? What is the penalty for extra mileage?

IMHO, I would keep my drive off to a minimum as it doesn't affect the amount of interest you are going to pay. My payments on a 42 month lease is just at 1311 per month with only a total of 2100 drive off and that included the first payment. This was on a 997S coupe, well my car is in my sig..

This is with tax, here in Ca. it's 8.25%, the base lease was 1212 I believe.

that is a great deal but that is also 200+ more and 1 extra year of leasing, but of course you are getting an S car and not a base model
