sound clips new headers

i know alot of people dont like to hear sound clips of mufflers etc...
but you can compare my previous vids of the pse mod to my 3 new clips of the pse mod with my new headers (cheap ebay ones).
i think there is a very noticeable difference.
what do you guys think?
(that is my cousins poor attempt to copy the fabspeed commentary)

just pse mod cold start

pse mod + headers cold start
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWMSnIpqkQ4

some more, alittle quieter at idle after warming up

i cant wait till i get the borla mufflers, i think it already sounds great, but the mufflers will top it all off.

hey abdullah,
it is honestly hard to compare my clip to your car in person.
i feel that at cold start my car sounds like my friends car which only has PSE.
i think these headers are much different than the x51 though, so i dont know if that makes a difference.
when i had the pse mod alone, the sound is not much different than stock.
I also have a K&N cold air intake.

I have the FABSPEED cold air kit but I think it's just waste of money. My car with PSE sound louder and way nicer than stock but not enough for me . I think better headers or cats will do the job.

a lot of friends have told me the EVO air intake changes the sound but I don't know I may consider it as next mod for my car

yeah the evo air intake and K&N cold air kit will probably sound about the same, and louder than the regular tube from fabspeed.
i thought my friends pse was too loud and might be annoying after a while...
i heard a tubi on a 997 briefly the other day and still think the pse is loudest so far. still waiting on the borlas...
how many miles have you put on the mufflers? it is always loud right? no switches or electronics?

I got it used from a friend I don't know how many miles but yeah it's ON all the time. So now if I get the K&N air intake my car will sound louder

i think they would make a similar change in sound. the evo one has been around longer and people feel more comfortable with their product.
however the K&N one claims higher hp gains. i got the K&N CAI from dan at vivid. have had for over 15K miles without any problems, cleaned and re-oiled once and cleaned the MAF sensor last week just cause i had nothing else to do...

Raffi,

your car does sound different with the Ebay headers. Sounds great! My car sounds pretty much the same after installing EVO headers and it cost much more than the ebay ones!

hey anthony, i got fabspeed mufflers and although i like them, definitely doesnt sound much louder...
they were a little more difficult to install then the AWE.
alittle deeper than AWE also.
i am so confused since i also have a pse.
i definitely feel more power, but i also just flashed the ecu

So are you going to keep the fabspeed or stick with the PSE? I am still a bit divided on which mufflers to go with between AWE and fabspeed...would like whichever ones are louder thats for sure. Any word on when the Borla ones will finally be ready and available?

jay,
the pse is the loudest.
i had the awe before but no headers at the time.
i have the fabspeed now and the headers.
i feel the fabspeed is a bit louder, deeper, more drone.
i honestly dont think there is much difference between the fabspeed and awe, and alone they are not much louder than the oem.
the pse is louder raspy, very dry sound, no drone.
i dont know if the fabspeed gives me gains, but at least i think there might be, with the pse i know there are no gains.
i struggled so much installing the fabspeed that i am too tired to install the pse unless i get a good offer on the fabspeed.
let me know if you still want the pse, if you decide to go with fabspeed i might consider selling those.
they both come with the tips, the fabspeed tips are amazing
