Need Pricing Help for my 2005 997 S (Black)

What could I sell my Black 997S with 8,000 miles for? Upgrades are gemballa exhaust, headers and tail pipes. The car has been blacked out from wheels, tints, tailights, etc. Interior looks brand new and detailer comes every 2 weeks to do what ever is necessary. I have added a silver steering wheel and a silver ebrake (Have original steering wheel). Car is in mint condition. I know the aftermarket upgrades don't mean jack but just looking for pricing. Any help would grateful.

Aloha

You should be able to get about $60,000 for the car.
I would probably recomend taking off all the exhaust parts.

Umm? 60K for a 2005 with only 8-9k on the clock. And its a S? The car is worth at least 65K, trade in would be 60k to a dealer that is low balling. Personally the car is worth more to me but real world numbers will prob. put it at 65K.

Good luck with the sale!

I was thinking 65K probably would be the magic number but I guess the market will tell me.

You'd be giving it away for $60K.

Did I spot PCCBs? If so and it's a black/black 2005 997S it's most likely 'Launch Car' configured (ie. full leather, Sport Chrono, etc. etc.) If so you should get close to $70K depending on the selling area.

I too would suggest replacing the aftermarket equipment w/ as much stock components as you can and then sell the aftermarket equipment separately. Most of the time you'll come out ahead plus not scare potential buyers w/ a 'modified' car.

Good Luck!

Then certainly it's in the $68K to $72K depending on the marketplace.

Just check Autotrader, eBay and other sale venues for what other sellers are asking. Here's a 2005 Launch Car asking of $73.9K on eBay.

I think $60K is fair, I was looking at a launch car around this time last year at dealer 7800 on the clock for $67.5K.

Wow . . . . You should have jumped on that deal.

$67.5K a year ago? If it was a legitimate deal you made a big mistake not going for it.

Does anyone think $67,000 and I pay for shipping to California is unreasonable? Remember this is not a distress sale and only reason selling is making space for a p car. All proceeds from this sale will go to the Contact Foundation which is buying a commercial spot for kids to learn jiu jitsu.

Here is a thought....Do you think I can get 67 people to put $1000 into a raffle....Guaranteed cap of 67 people. I would hire an independent company to assure this. Is this crazy?
