So I picked up the 997S on Saturday. The car is great...def in a different league of performance than the M3. I found out my car has the adaptive sports seats in addition to the full leather interior which is great I think. Unfortunately it does look like it needs new tires in the back (will probably replace all four) and in need of service. The car has 12,700 miles on it and I think I got a good deal on it so its not a big deal. The tires sure are expensive though...and backordered. I will post pics soon but the weather here in seattle has been crap...gray and rain at times yuck!

I did it. Cost me around $2,050 out the door. You might be hard pressed to put that kind of a deal together. It took a while but I got a new Nav kit off of eBay for $1500 and change + shipping then I called around to dealers and found one (Rusnak Pasadena) that did the install for $400. Dealer quotes ranged from $400 to $1800 for the install alone. The Nav kit (more than the DVD drive) cost around $2100 from Suncoast. eBay saved me quite a bit of $$.

Hahaha... I guess going from a BMW to a Porsche is a step in the evolution of a car enthusiast?

Sure thanks for the offer. I think at this point I am going to go with AWE mufflers. I would love to meet some other P-car enthusiasts and go on drives etc...so let me know if you would like to meet up sometime or if any events are going on!

"2006 997 C2s carrara white on beige, full leather interior, sport chrono, heated seats, bose, etc with 11,800 miles on it. "

Did you buy the one from TruSpeed Motorcars? I was looking at that one and then it was gone. How do you like the full leather?

Nope I got it from a MB dealer in Oregon, which was nice because I was able to drive there from Seattle and trade in my car for it. The full leather is great, and the adaptive sports seats are extremely comfortable!
