C4S Service

Did 5,300 miles in 3 months - I love to drive my car.

Did oil change and tire rotation at a friends garage - I am glad he had a lift and a telescoping oil catcher...

997fanatic is infamous around these parts
I got my first Oil Change after 2 yrs at 9500 miles. I was talking to the shop techs and they said you don't really have to change the oils on these cars that often b/c they all use synthetic oil. Do you guys agree I've also heard other arguments...never know who to believe.

I stumbled across a radical alternative to changing the oil in my car. Screw the oil, just change the car.

In first year, drove 5,000 mi. Changed the oil/filter myself at 5,250 mi (using instructions on renntech.org) and plan to do a 2 yr. service at dealer next summer.
