Dodge has discontinued the Magnum so I would believe you would need to search local dealer inventory to see if any SRT8s are available.
Since your post, I just searched for one at www.cars.com and inputted my zip and none was available

Thats a lot of SRT8s in your area. I am sure the dealer is willing to deal.
Maybe go to www.edmunds.com and find out using your zip what the going rate is for these cars. Better yet negotiate from invoice.

just got back from a nearby dealer. they had 1 '07 in stock - $427xx sticker, asking $385xx. there are a few '08's around, but asking price is a few thousand higher. the '08's look good with the new front end. the interior is re-designed, but not a big deal.

I think you can do better. With '09 models hitting soon and fuel prices plus interest in a cancelled model I'm thinking you can get pretty close to invoice for any vehicle with a big hemi.

Are you financed already, buying outright or financing through the dealer?

As stated above, there will be no '09 Magnum.

Those prices for the Magnum arent that good. I am sure they can take a few more grand off.
I was looking through EBAY at new Grand Cherokee SRTs (since there were no new Magnum SRT8s on that sight), and a dealer here in Illinois, has new GC SRT8s with various equipment levels being priced for $7300-$7400 off sticker.
I would think you can get that 07 (being nearly 2 model years old) for around high 32K to low 33K. The 08 magnum should be had for at least $7K-$7500 off sticker.
They should throw in the $2.99/gallon guarantee and the lifetime powertrain warranty (since SRT models are excluded)
Good luck in your search and hope you get a great deal!! A black SRT Magnum with tinted windows looks hot!!

yeah, i figure there's a lot of wiggle room. it was just the advertised price on the car. i just stopped in real quick to check it out. i gotta see if my dad is serious before i start negotiating.

I know. Look at what I said, a "cancelled model."

These were the deals on the 2007's when I bought my Charger last year. Not sure if there is anything like this now, but it gives you an idea of what was out there.
