Damn...that vid made my palms sweat...I want one...

 

GTR Vspec is closer to the Viper ACR in that they are both stripped out.

The ZR1 is closer to the Ferrari 599, both are very fast cruisers. Im sure that Chevy will offer a racing version of the ZR1 in the future, they might name it ZR1-R or something along those lines.

 

i thought the zr-1 was coming with paddle shifts instead of a manual

I doubt Chevy will come out with something like a "racing version" of the ZR1, as Bob Lutz (or another highly ranked person in the GM hierarchy) said that the Z06 is the definite track focused car and the ZR1 is something that is more "refined" if you wish, but can still kick *** on a track.

 

One day we will be talking with our grandchildren about the 'good ol' stick shift days.'

 

I'll always have at least one regular manual transmission in my stable!

Cars pretty quick. I agree with a different driver the time would be a few seconds faster. But then again so would Porsche if they let someone else besides Roehl drive, he's a GREAT driver but let someone else give it a try already...
