It seems like if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. I find it disturbing how careless some of these places can be.

Crap happens and you have to roll with the punches. Nothing is intentional and even the best places make mistakes. Sometimes it is nothing more than asking them to make sure they A) Show them the mounting points to refresh their memory or educate them B) Ask them to please be careful of using a socket without a rubberized covering C) Do they mind if you watch.

Asking these questions makes them aware that you are around and respect their service but at the same time want to make sure nothing goes wrong. They appreciate it more if you do those things than to just SCREAM AND YELL at them for being ignorant. They are not taught to ask questions because of their lack of direct dialogue with the customers.
