ZR1 vs Z06 as track car
Z06 all day over the ZR1 for track duty. One word= Heat soak. Z06 with suspension and brake upgrade and the usual breathing mods should be just as fast or faster than the ZR1 imho adn run all day. ZR1 for the street. Its a GTish car to me.
Fast for the street and a few laps on track before teh heat soak hits it. Heat soak has plagued the FGT and GT500 and I see no reason it wont affect a ZR1 despite its new fangled sc tech thats supposed to reduce that from what Ive heard. I wouldnt be surprised to see ZR1 owners taking off the SC for Turbos like FGT guys have done. The majority of them wont see track duty I believe. Besides why beat up on the 105k ZR1 at a track when you can buy the Z06 for 65k and track the hell out of that instead. my worthless 2c.

This is the same type of comparison between the GT2 and GT3RS.
GT2 may be faster but the RS is the "better" track car.
ZR1 may be faster but the Z06 is the "better" track car.
Both cars from each company are dead on competitors pretty much anywhere.
