Yes, I had a KB 2.2 with a Viper spec T-56 and a SRA. I always ran on pump gas and drag radials. I sold the KB and am in the process of building my motor and adding a Hellion TT kit.Originally Posted by revracer
Whats your setup? I think Ive seen you post on SVTP before and its a KB 2.2 car with a built T56 if Im not mistaken. Those cobras sound amazing. Is that GT a built motored car?

It's the Hellraiser kit, bit I'm not using the blower. It just gets in the way and hurts power above 4500 rpm.Originally Posted by revracer

I'm friends with a Hellion dealer and got a hell of a deal on it. You also can't beat their on the shelf kits with no waiting and great customer service, along with their quality all stainless kits.

Nice choice on the blower delete. I can respect that theres less lag but at the same time there is more heat and it still has the loss of hp from the blower. Are you gonna run a sullivan intake, 01 style intake, or something different? Stroker motor or stock ci? What turbos? Sorry for all the questions Terminators are up there on my favorite car list.Originally Posted by 2bscrewed

I'm using my block bored .020 over, stock crank, Oliver billet rods, Coated JE pistons bringing the compression up to 9.2-1. New Livernois stage II heads with custom turbo grind comp cams. I'm gonna try a Procharger sheet metal intake designed to work with the stock lower. Hopefully the alternator will clear the intake. I'll find out when the top of the motor get together in a week or two. I'm hoping for at least 750whp on pump gas. I will also probably put a meth kit on the car next year to really turn up the boost and see what it will do. I also just got my tranny back from Liberty Gear. They faceplated it, and freshened it up. I'm hoping that will help the shifting out and allow me to stay in boost during the shifts. My tranny would not allow me to power shift in the past. that's why I'm granny shifting in my vid in my sig.
My goal is to run a 9 in full street trim on pump gas.
My friend put this kit on a stock long block car here and it made 698 hp on 15#'s of boost, 13* timing and pump gas, so I'm hoping I get quite a bit more out of my set up. The added compression, ported heads and turbo cams should help my power and spool time considerably.

698 whp out of 15lbs is some good numbers for a stock motored machine. I think with your setup pump gas 9's would be easily doable. Any weight reduction? Still IRS? Have you thought about doing a 5.4 iron block instead of the 4.6? Intersting intake idea though, I dont think Ive ever seen it done but Im not huge into the turbo cobra scene either.Originally Posted by 2bscrewed

I had a 3600# race weight with the blower and Bogarts. My street tire/wheel combo is about 50#'s heavier than the Bogarts. I have a built SRA. I haven't seen any turbo cars running the Procharger upper either, that's why I'm not sure how the Alternator is going to work out.Originally Posted by revracer

I don't really want to go the 5.4 route. I don't like the piston speeds it gets up to when you try to rev them with the long stroke of the 5.4. It would be fine for a race car, but it's not what I want in a street car.
