Best mod for my dads 07 c6 vette

im looking for a christmas present for my dad... im a tt owner and love modding it he has enjoyed watching me tinkering with it and decided to to buy a vette only thing is has has not bought any performance parts yet he has mentioned it several times but has not pulled the trigger... so im looking for a little help... he is a mechanic by trade so he probably can tackle most projects

that leaves a lot of options open. i am gonna assume he is going to want to keep his warranty so that leaves out a laundry list of things. you are then limited to looks stuff or an exhaust. which yields almost no gains. but if you are going to do an exhaust i would suggest the corsa with the corsa x pipe, no drone and the two combined will give you a few hp. almost everything else "performance will void warranty. then again you could go with brake upgrades (lines and pad compound), suspension (PFADT coilovers or their inverted shocks), sway bars (PFADT street bars). thi is such an open topic and with no ceiling on price we can throw a ton of things out there at you. let us know a price range and whether or not warranty is important, also how in depth you think he would want to go....

I totally agree with Drew, anyway i would opt for a suspension upgrade or exhaust.

You can possibly lower it with him on the stock bolts, vera-ram intake, gears are a great mod, i dont know if your's comes with butterfly valves in the exhaust but you can get a module to turn them off. Just throwing some ideas out there. BTW a shortshifter is a great mod that he would enjoy every shift

Budget?

Are you trying to improve looks or performance? Are you worried about warranty issues?

Get the mild2wild switch. Also headers go a long way on these cars.

I wouldn't be too worried about the warranty, the cars are pretty reliable.

The Corsa Extreme exhaust sounds very good, with no drone inside the car.

If your looking to only spend $150 then you can get a window valet.
