Built stroker motor
Fuel system
Twin turbo
Quaife rear end
Moton coilovers
Those are the main mods. As far as cost, you can find a used SRT for ~$40k. All the go fast and cosmetic mods would cost about $75k. Not too bad for this level of performance when compared to other $115k cars.

That is a killer looking and performing for that total investment.

What year is yours? What year range includes that same SRT model to duplicate from a starting point?

2004. The SRT models are from 2003-2006. 2003, 2004, 2005 are all convertables. 2006 you can choose between convertable or coupe. The newest 2008-09 Vipers look the same, but there are improvements in the engine/drivetrain. Unfortunately, no tuner has heavily modded the newest Vipers, so the 03-06 models are your best platform to twin turbo at this point.

Okay thanks for the info.

Sorry to get off topic too much in advance, but what would you say the distinct advantages of the SRT model years over the forged bottom end 96-99 GTS models (as far as a platform to modify), as I have had my eye on one of those for awhile.... ?

thanks

Wow. Thanks for sharing. I've only seen a handful of "steet" cars go that fast in person. That's moving! Very nice setup.

For some reason I read a twin disk wouldn't work on a 2003/2004 due to it utilizing a crank sensor at the flywheel.

Didn't make sense to me, but I haven't had one apart to understand what it looks like/how it could be affected.

The interior is nicer in the newer cars vs. the older GTS's. The '96-'99 can handle ~1000rwhp reliably, with supporting fuel and powertrain mods. The newer Viper engines are cast pistons with forged rods, so they will at least need pistons for boosted applications.
