well opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one. and since i don't know what the exact definition of a "supercar" is nor do i care. i will say this the reason so many cars are made is because there is a different car for different people with different needs at different places in their life. there is no car that is the be all end all. but although i think you are condescending and arrogant you are entitled to your opinion, but try not to preach so much! the IS-f is a nice car but nothing special either....

 

Hey Superstar.... there were plenty of cars there that might not be what you (self proclaimed genius) might not be considered "supercars". To each his own on their preference of cars. The Z06 is the best American Sports car out there dollar for dollar. And keep this in mind, as another poster mentioned, you do not own an American Car! Its people like you that run their mouth and dont support the country you live in by buying Imports!

The c6 z06 is the best bang for the buck you can buy. It's fine to think of it ans just a sports car, however yours is nothing more than a sedan. And BTW, you haven't beaten any properly driven c6. Did they know you were racing? It must suck having to watch out for e92 m3s and c63 amgs. I apologize for bringing you back to reality, it can be painful.

BTW, the fastest time you could find for you car has a lower trap than the average C6. Do you you know what happens when a car with a 115 trap races a 117 trapping car on the freeway? i guess the Lexus still pulls somehow, right? Damn, you're dense. A C6 has gone mid 10s with just bolt ons. Try getting even close to that.

by no means am i an internet tough guy. i will tell you how it is on here just as i would in person.

and the millions was both before and after "flying to washington" becasue this is not the first bailout the auto industry has needed! but you should do some research before you speak. all three of the US automakers have in fact taken loans during previous auto crisis and have all paid them back including the interest. and unless you are completely clueless the last thing we (as americans) want is for any or all of the big three to go down. the ripple affect that would create could be catastrophic to the entire economy in a time as tough as now. it is not just the company that fails, but all the people involved from the employees, vendors, publicists, advertisers and so on and so forth the fallout would be devastating.

About this argument: I think you guys are missing each others points and just coming up with fighting words.
* You define supercars differently - so the cars that fall in the category are different
* You cant compare stock vs modded - that doesn't make much sense.
* "Don't buy imports" is just lame. America thrives on capitalism alone. Brand loyalty is not part of that equation.
