Here are a few shots from Palm Beach Supercar Weekend. I did a little selective color on 2 of them for something different. I was a guest of 360 Forged at the show and and I just want to say that these guys are truly the best! I had a great time and cant thank Jordan, Jon, Miguel and of course my favorite photographer Will for a great day! It was also a pleasure meeting Jon (Xceler8).

 

Is the Z06 a "supercar"?

Not from a luxury standpoint, but performance wise, yes.

 

I think the z06 is just as much a super car as a 997 or f430

 

well I would consider it to be as well!
Not that this makes it a supercar but
It was designed and engineered on german autobahn and it does go 180 !!!

I believe it should be called a supercar!

Great, then I will consider my IS-F a "supercar" as well because it was tested on the Nurburgring, and can reach 180 mph (limiter removed...172 mph limited) as well.

I don't want to start nor get into an incredulous debate regarding what constitutes a "supercar" but I consider cars like the Enzo, Veyron, Mclaren F1, Carrera GT, Maserati MC-12 etc to be "supercars".......not cars you can buy practically new for 50 grand!

I wouldn't put your IS-F in the same category as a C6 Z06. From a luxury perspective, your car is superior. However, performance wise, it's not even close. My C6 walks my buddies IS-F from any speed. A Z06 puts a good buslength on me 60-110. It does 195+ mph and has broken into the 10's with just slicks, things your car can't do.

I wasn't aware that MSRP determined which cars are considered 'super'. We can argue if it truly fits under that name but it's awful hard to argue it's supercar performance.

I'm not an IS-F hater, I love them and have been looking at one for my wife.

You can't be serious? I've raced C6's from a dig and roll and have won more than lost. Drivers race all day.......you might not be an IS-F hater but you can't possibly think that your C6 walks over a car that rockets to 60 in 4.2 seconds and runs 12.3's with nothing more than drag radials?

Absolutely.......your Elise will make cars costing three times as much look putrid and feeble around a track.....same with a heavily modded STI! Too bad most vette owners think that only their cars can be considered "super" because common sense just isn't used the way it should be.

Do I spend "so" much time in here? I haven't posted anything up until now for that past month!

I have nothing to prove other than reminding vette owners that their cars are not the fastest and greatest cars in the world (much to their chagrin).....and that other makes and models from around the world deserve respect even though they are not built in the U.S.

Enough off topic BS for one day........IMO the Z06 is not a supercar
