Looking at 03-05 viper

Just wondering if anybody can fill me in on the Reliability of the 03-05 vipers. There are a few cars that I am looking at right now it its all coming down to how the reliability is. Is the viper just as reliable at the c6
Thanks

yes they are very reliable, i had an 00 and an 03. the 03 was perfect. all you really have to do is change the oil and follow normal procedures. its a good motor/tranny. car is pretty basic, but much more fun to drive then a c6 (owned that too)

anytime. i had an ls7 built and an ls2...and an ls1..pops had an ls6...i guess we've had a few!

corvettes are nice, much more common though. and for the price you have to pay for an ls3 car which will depreciate substantially you can get a more unique car which is the viper. if its a daily driver, corvette is better.

that viper makes over 400wtq a little over 1000rpms...something no ls3 will ever do. im considering getting another viper when im done with the e55. It has more power then most exotics and its very reliable. the 03-05 has a great driving experience and has lost most of it's value making it a better investment as vipers are a little bit less "dime a dozen" then the vettes are. hope it helps

Buy the Viper. The Corvette is a good all around sports car that makes a good DD. The Viper is a better 2nd car. I have had a blast with mine. The Viper's drivetrain is strong and the engine can easily be modified.
