In case you don't know, the supercharger does not come on immediately. The dealer should explain it to you.

 

Thanks - I'll go over there and check it out. I was able to take a test ride in a previously owned 2010 coupe at another dealer. I was watching the PSI guage and saw it go up when I got on it - at first I thought the guage was broken.

I was deciding between a Z06 and the Shelby GT500 - after taking both out for test rides the same day I wanted the Shelby GT500.

Thanks for the link to your test drive. Looks like you are on the way. The initial production numbers are out for 2010 and I think they only did 864 verts.

On teamshelby, a few of the forums are "members only" so they will charge you to use that portion of the forum but, you will get a NICE package with shirt/decals/books in the mail. Kind of like joining SCCA. This is Carroll's official car club site online.

The other advantage to joining is you get access to their events and such, like Carroll's birthday party in Vegas is coming up 2nd week in January. SOME people have
their cars trucked in from back east and FL/TX area's. Shelby rents a road course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the drag strip all day long. Run what ya brung! At night there is a dinner and speakers etc. Very cool event. I don't think Carroll is attending this year due to a conflict and, he has been in/out of the hospital a few times recently. I have the same screen name over there so, hope to see you on the board.

Ok, sounds good. Not sure what's up but they did a website upgrade last week.

 

Its a one year only color combo and with a 5 speed, spoiler delete its one of about 15 made according to Ford.. The interior is called chamois and its reminiscent of the old 308's interior color..

Yeah well, the sun here in Arizona has caused me to switch to a coupe.
I'm thinking of a hertz vert in 2011 to add to my collection so, we will see if that pans out. Glad you enjoy yours so much!

 

yea its a whole lot cooler here in Jersey... And shore cruising with the top down is religious experience...
