New DD - CTS-V or M5
#16
If you were to "give" me either, I'd take the BMW everytime.....Not to knock the CTS-V at all, but the BMW is a car that's very well put together and I could pull up to Neiman Marcus and make all the muckety mucks oogle. JMO

Thanks to everyone for the advice and kind words. The search for a new daily driver has come to an unexpected ending.
I made a deal on a 2002 Porsche GT2. I could not pass the deal up so the M5/CTS-V debate will have to be settled at another time.

I can only speak to the CTS-V. It has torque galore at idle. Let the clutch out with no throttle & your going 10 mph as you pick up the throttle. It glides. Until you smack the **** out of it, then it's a firebreathing dragon. The BMW V-10 sounds spectacular, and it's a BMW, You know it's going to be good .Tough choice if money is no object. I'd love to try out the BMW.
