I wonder if most people on these forums realize how fast this run actually is....especially for a stock car. Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche can't even touch this run with their stock cars. Kudos to the ZR1

I agree this time is nuts! But a stock Carrera GT ran an 11.1 @ 133.4 mph

http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php...arch+DragTimes

Stock Enzo ran a 10.8 @135 mph

http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php...arch+DragTimes

Stock Lambo Murcielago ran a 10.9 @ 129 mph

http://www.dragtimes.com/Lamborghini...lip-19576.html

So to say a stock Ferrari, Lambo, or Porsche can't even "touch this" is a little harsh

I am not a frequent visitor of drag times..didn't realize those numbers. Was just going by what I see at the drag strip myself and what is posted by others on this forum. All awesome. (Not fair to mention the Enzo).
Was really comparing the ZR1 to the flagship cars of those manufacturers...911 turbo, F430, Gallardo. Friends of mine run F430's and 997TT and they seem to top out at 120-121mph. (stock).....the ZR1's 133mph seems sigmificantly higher. Anyway, the 60's isn't the golden era of sports cars..we are in it now!

No question, for the money the ZR1 is in a class by itself......and I would love to own one!

-just sayin

Very true but I'd like to see what those other cars can do at a track with a -1300ft DA, same conditions as that ZR1. No doubt the ZR1 is impressive but it's really the track that needs most of the credit IMO.

Exactly. The one I saw at Bandimere (5850ft with a DA north of 8k ft) was trapping 116-118mph.

And a Z06 would be at 113 in that crappy air.

Even in that crap air, IMO 116 seems very low. Might have had a crappy driver too.

ZR1 trapping 116-118mph.....obviously this person cannot drive or wasn't trying. My '09 Viper was trapping 122 mph in 95 degree summer heat (with no cool downs)....don't ask why I went that day....just had to know what she would run. I think just running on beautiful 50-60 degree days are misleading.

Sorry..at Englishtown. It was so hot that day it was offensive. The temp only read 95 but the humidity had to be well above.
