Good luck and keep us posted
The car is my daily driver. The tune is middle of the road. Nothing maxed out as far as I know. Vector Motorsports tunes a ton of these cars.
I still have to send the latest dyno information to them and get one last fine adjustment.

It sure sounds different at WOT with the Headers!

My new wheels are now on! Also not the new stance.
Will be making some appearance mods soon to complete "the look".

Bob.au will become famous soon enough
Nice, very nice. Say, how about some Holden Calais V tails to REALLY set your G8 apart from the others?

Thank you Bob! I like the Calais rear, except for the diffuser. If I were going to change the taillights I would probably go HSV GTS. Just not sure I want to spend $6000 or so to swap taillights and diffuser.
How's you Mistu?

I was considering the Calais tail lights for my SSV just before I got rid of it

The Evo is awesome man Definately lacks the presence and respect my SSV had, but it's better in many other ways

Am I correct in thinking that the Calais tails are taller than the VE, and a swap would require changing the bumper?
Will a G8 GXP diffuser fit the Calais bumper?

Glad you are enjoying your Evo!

Calais tails are the same size as the SSV/G8/G8GT tails They look a bit classier IMO.

n.b. I think the Calais & Calais V have the same tails, they are basically red with a smoke finish lens: http://www.autoclub.com.au/uploaded_...008-743326.jpg

Hmm, I thought I checked them out before and they were taller than the G8 tails. Maybe a better description is that they go lower and that requires a different rear bumper.
Note the difference in the follwing two pics:

Where are you? Would love to connect with a Monaro conversion for a photoshoot.
