Talking My CTS-V on new HRE Monoblok P41 wheels

These are the 20" HRE P41 Monoblok wheels I ordered for my 2009 CTS-V. I asked HRE to come up with a slightly gray tinted clearcoat for these, over a brushed surface. I think they nailed it, the wheels compliment my gray car very nicely. The guys at HRE liked this finish so much that they will begin offering it to everyone as a standard choice.

20x9.0 front with 255 wide Nitto 555 tire
20x9.5 rear with 285 wide Nitto 555 tire

Here is how it will look when I install my D3 springs, probably this week.

Looks really good man. Glad your going with a drop too. Couldn't fit any wider of a rear tire on there huh?

I think a 295 will fit, but prefer not to have the sidewalls sticking out of the rear quarters. I've seen these cars with 305 wide tires, but they stick out too far for me. Since I plan on lowering the car, I didn't want any clearance issues.

Looks great, Once you lower car will really give it that attack look. I have 2009 also did some work to it and making about 580 at wheels and is beast. There is so much you can do to these cars with just tune, exhaust and pulley swap.

CSX, is yours auto or manual? I have the 9.5 crank pulley and larger heat exchanger to install this week. Hoping for 550 rwhp with a custom tune.

How does rolling the fenders not help rubbing issues when running a larger tire?
