I know Doug Rippie ships motors all over the world and has flown to Europe before to do some tuning.

Give him a call. He is very straight foward no BS guy. He will tell you what he can and can not do.

The number at the shop is (763) 477-9272. Tell them that Eric Carver gave you the number.

Late Model Racecraft is basically the benchmark in the LS world. I'd give them a shout. What is your setup?

most of the tuners listed can write you a program you can flash to your computer using a handheld programmer. and with datalogging you can prob get them to tweak it a bit. is it not possible to get it to a dyno? im sure you know that is the best and safest way.....

To be honest the best thing you can do is skip the whole canned tune thing and find a local shop to work with. You can do all of your own data logging and a lot of your own tuning by getting yourself some software.

Personally I use www.HPTuners.com software and it couldn't be easier. It has everything you need to do it yourself and their website has a massive support forum and even tunes that have been done by staff and members that can do whatever you need.

Canned tunes are convenient but at the end of the day they are largely just a generic tune and the price remains mostly in the name you are getting it from. When you have the software yourself there is no need to wait for emails of new tunes or questions to go back and forth, you just look at the data and type in the solution yourself.

And before anyone says anything about being afraid to blow up your car doing it yourself, if you have the basic common sense of how an engine works you will be fine. All the major software brands have online support, forums, and help files built into the software.
