Jesus, how much power can the stock GT500 motor safely handle?

 

700 ish with a blower is generally ok, 750 gets you to the ragged edge.

 

Wow, that's amazing on the stock block.

 

Isn't ususally the other way around? You go from snake to Z06???

I love the sound of the tubos spooling and the blow off valve!!

The sound of a turbo spooling is exactly what my z06 lacks... Gt500 sounds awesome!

I'm disappointed.

Very cool car indeed,...badass,...i'd own another cobra if I was able...not knocking the car but,...after owning a Cobra,...then a vette, I prefer the vette. I understand if you need a back seat or something,...maybe need a little more room,..I dunno.. very badass ride, indeed, just think the vette is lightyears aead.

Have fun with it though, sounds like you are. What are you gonna do about your name now lol? Thats like having a tattoo of some ol girlfriends name on your chest or something.
