Just looked at the new Tesla from the outside. It was parked in downtown in San Mateo. Sinister Black paint and it had a factory sticker on the side # 42 . Obviously a Factory test type car because it looked well used. So here is what I think:
1/ really a good looking car in line with the Jaguar / Aston Martin actually. MUCH better looking that the Fisker Karma
2/ Huge oversized TV / Monitor in the front with an additional display in front of the driver. Possible 22 inch high and 16 inch wide or so.
3/ Serious design work to sculpture the dash around those 2 displays. Too much in my opinion but at least it was designed well.
4/ Seats looked very good and comfortable front and back
5/ Seats in back are low so lots of headroom.
6/ Huge trunk from the outside. Assume much smaller in reality because of the batteries. They have to be somwhere he??
7/ Serious set of 20 inch ( or more) wheels.
8/ Paint. Not sure that will be the strongest point of this model but it could have been a pre-production car. So wait and see.

All in all. Impressive size and looks, good stance, great body design, way better than the American styled Caddis and MKZ etc.

Perhaps they should now put a real diesel engine in this car and have some real competition for BMW and Mercedes.. and Audi in that class. Now THAT would be a real car.

Saw it on the new york car show and was very impressed. Its a great looking car and looks like very high quality.
