A boy and his dream.... (proud dad post)
I've spent my life around cars, growing up my grandfather was an Old school used car dealer, my father was 1st a Ford Dealer, later adding a Chevy Store, Hyundai Store, and Jaguar Store. I joined him in the business out of college and went on to have my Own Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo store before selling out to a Dealer Group and changing industries, and location. The only parts of the car business I really miss are my team, and the cars. When we had the Ford dealership we also had a speed shop, which i had for fun not profit. My team there built some incredible cars and trucks, I raced Solo II for years, had some great cars myself.
Three years ago I bough him a Bronco off eBay, shipped it 2500 Miles to Canada where he and I fixed it up, but then reluctantly sold it. He's still disappointed that he didn't get to have it.
My son was devastated when I left the car business, He always thought he was going to do as I did, learn from Dad and be a car guy. Since relocating to Naples Florida, My son, Carter has thrived, started a new life here at 16 years old, made new friends at his new school and worked his *** of to get some of the best marks he's ever had. He was recently accepted at Florida Gulf Coast University Management program and plans to further his education to fulfill his dream as an automotive journalist. He was also selected by the Rev's institute ( visit www.revsinstitute.org they have an incredible collection of cars) as a youth volunteer and is new studying to become the youngest Docent that the museum's had since it's inception. He has the same sickness we have, an inexplicable love of a Machine that is nothing more than a collection of parts, sheetmetal and glass.
Tomorrow he graduates from high school. Here is his reward, not gift, for all of his hard work and dedication. He has become an incredible gentleman. I am so incredibly proud of him.

I found this 2001 Bullitt, it was tired and forgotten, and it only needs a little bit of work. Carter and I will work on it together creating the most cherished moments of my life and hopefully his.

Nice, I started my car life in a 03 Mustang GT.
First things you need are the Mach 1 grille delete and front lip to make that car look a lot better. Then drop it on some wide 18" wheels and you can forget the exterior and start working on the engine/drivetrain.

Sunburned, Normally I would, but it's a Bullitt so we are going to leave it cosmetically and mechanically stock, other then we ordered 17x9 w/ 275 and 10.5 w/315 matte black bullitts for street use / look. I put a new set of Konis in it and the r compounds are staying on the stock 17x8's so we can run in F-Stock.
