Just thought I'd share some pics about my friend's Full Chassis Lightning Build. I've been helping with some of the parts sourcing/ordering and it has been a blast. So crazy to see this thing go from daily driver to this.

It's getting a "custom" Ford GT motor/intake with a Whipple 3.4L blower, turbo 400 trans for now, etc. Should weigh in around 2600lbs i believe! It has a dry sump system, MOTEC, and quite a few other goodies.

I took this one in week six of the build. Doesn't it look like a dinosaur?

I was gonna ask how it's losing 2000lbs, but never mind.

Besides the "losing the frame" deal its getting a full fiberglass front end, just the skins of the bed are left, etc. Oh, no more bench seat
