The car was at SEMA where it was voted one of the 10 most outrageous cars there. Come spring time he's going to bring the Vette out to our Sunday morning Church of the Holy Donut meet.

Here's a link to the one run http://ywnv.vidiac.com/video/a9e2c44...c9001f5d43.htm

By any standards, this car is wild.

The car didn't sound very smooth rolling down the track. Once he has all his systems running, that car will easily do a 6 second 200mph plus run.
I don't think he did any damage to the motor, at least, nothing significant.

happy holidays all!

Nice race car...with tags, etc. I'll race that car in the 1/4 mile. Right after we go on a 50 mile cruise in city traffic. The only problem is, that car wouldn't make it though traffic without overheating that electric fuelpump and I wouldn't have anyone to race.

It's a nice race/show car. But not much of a realistic streetcar IMO.

With a nice paint job that thing would be even more badass.

Actually, Rod thought of that. He had a special rheostat built for the fuel pump that sits in the trunk. He can dial it down for the street and then pump it up for the quarter mile.

The car would make your 50 mile cruise (and has) then do pretty good at the track as well.

happy holidays

Motor details? I'm guessing a DRCE prostock BBC? Looks like 47-80's for the turbos.

Car should get down the track pretty quickly, though I hate to say it but a good friend of mine is building something similar on a modern chassis/body and it will crush that thing.

Oh and enjoy street driving that lenco, planetary gear trannys suck ***** to downshift.
It's a SBC 400 from what i remeber correctly..
