Reus Systems In Houston, Tx

Reus Systems from California now has a branch in Houston,TX called Reus Audio Southwest. They specialize in car audio systems for Porsche, MBZ, BMW, Lamborghini, Bentley etc. In fact they are currently at the Houston Auto Show.

Recently I had a system installed in my car and IMO has an excellent sound quality, even though I know sound quality is subjective. What I like most about the Reus system is that after installation it looks 100% factory without any modifications of the car. Good for resale.

When I had my system installed I initially talked to Rick Reus at 714-633-6636, reusaudio.com but bought my system from Grover 281-300-7977 at the Houston Branch.

Just thought some of the members in the Southwest would want to know. Its worth checking out.

The Reus System was installed in my 2002 Ferrari 360 F1 cab and like you said it is incredible. I'm not sure which system but I think they only have one system for the Ferrari 360. They don't like upgrading Ferrari's too much because of their finicky electronics, but they did it anyway. Great guys!

Which system did you get and do you recall who installed your system?

Are you going to have Reus upgrade your 997 cab's audio system or did you have him transfer it from the 996 to the 997? I was told that if I ever bought a new car they would transfer it even if it was a different model and I would only be responsible for the labor cost of removal and reinstallation. Sounds like a great deal to me.

For the same system I'm sure every place would only charge labor but thats even if you need a whole different system (different amps, speakers, wiring, but I don't think head unit) for a completely different model or type of car.

At least thats what I understood them to say. They also offer a 100% lifetime warranty. I questioned them about that since it doesn't really sound true. I ask them if I played my music to loud and 5yrs down the road blew a voice coil would they replace it and they said yes. Sure beats 90 days parts and labor.

I noticed you owned a Z06 are you going to trade it for the new ZR1 when it comes out?

He charges a system transfer fee but it includes all components required to do a vehicle specific audio system in the new car. It's not just pulling the stuff out and using the same stuff in the next car.

All of this talk about Reus made me miss my old system. I just pulled the trigger on the system with 2 10" subs for my Turbo! I have no idea when I will get to the performance mods.... all electronic mods so far. RemoteKey + Mobridge iPod + Sirius SAT and now the Reus System.

Sounds like a great system!! IMO its all worth it. I have a Reus system in my Ferrari 360 F1 Spider that is fantastic but I heard that Reus has a exceptional system for the Porsche.

Let me know how it sounds. By the way when are you going to have it installed?

I met them at the Houston Auto Show. The person that I contacted was Grover Heiskell. He can be reached at 214-300-7977, gheiskell@aol.com or reusaudiosw@suddenlink.net. Good luck!

sasportas has a spectacular aura aboutsasportas has a spectacular aura about
Reus Audio

Reus is a complete scam. Stay away. I placed a deposit on a system for my 997 GT3 back in December of 2006. Reus still has not installed a system in my car or returned my $1000 deposit.

Repeated calls to Rick Reus have not resulted in getting my deposit returned.
