I live about 90 miles from the nearest AWE dealer in Pennsylvania and am reluctant to have any upgrades done in case there are any problems after the installation.
Also, is there anything negative about the GIAC software upgrade eg drivability, cold weather starting etc? It can't be a win win situation.

 

I drove AWE's car and it is as "streetable" as any stock car is around town. You should have no problems. If your car is brand new I would put some miles on it before doing any mods so the dealer can sort through them.

 

I modded the engine with only 150 miles on the car . 3500 miles later the car is not only blemish free but I wish that even the first 150 had this gear. Not even a cough has ever happened with this car at start up, at low throttle, or up in the high range.

My feeling has always been --mod the thing early to get the full enjoyment benefit . The mid range punch and spicy taste of the mods have me still doing cartwheels on my front lawn.
