Weird clutch noise

I have a 2008 997TT. It is making a weird intermittant noise when I release the clutch. It is a metalic clicking like noise that I can feel in the clutch pedal at a certain point in the release only. It is heard and felt at about the point when I would guess the clutch has engaged. If I drive it for a little bit the noise and click feeling in the pedal goes away and it feels normal. The clutch seems to engage ok while making the noise. Is something wrong? suggestions????

thanks

thanks for the reply. If I role down the window I can hear something occuring back at the transmission/clutch. Is it the throw out bearing?

so long as you can reproduce the noise just take it to the dealer, frankly I have no idea, new to Porsches so cant speak from experience but noise you are experiencing is not normal.

Go to your dealer and see if they can figure it out, if not take it over to Don Irby at West Houston.
